Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Top Artists 4 U LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us”), which operates the WeFam.Life website and service (the “Service”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information. By using the Service you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy. WeFam.Life is built to keep your family’s information private to your family group. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not visible to us).
- Profile & family-tree information — details you add about yourself and your relatives, such as names, relationships, gender, dates and places, photos, biographies, occupations, locations, and contact details.
- Content you upload — photos, videos, recordings, recipes, stories, documents, listings, reviews, posts, events, and messages.
- Business & marketplace information — directory listings, services, prices, family discounts, payment handles you choose to display, and similar.
- Communications — information you send us when you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — basic technical information such as browser type, device type, general location inferred from your IP address, pages viewed, and timestamps, used to operate and secure the Service.
- Cookies & local storage — small data files and browser storage used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and enable the app to work offline. See our Cookie Policy.
Information about other people
Because WeFam.Life is a family tool, you and other members may add information about relatives. If you add information about another person, you are responsible for having the right to do so (see our Terms). If a person is a child under 13, you must be their parent or guardian or have parental/guardian consent before adding their information.
2. How We Use Information
- to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service and its features;
- to create and manage your account and your family group;
- to display your information to the members of your family group as you direct;
- to calculate relationships and power the directory, marketplace, events, and other features;
- to communicate with you about your account, updates, and support;
- to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues;
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.
| Who | Why |
|---|---|
| Members of your family group | Information you add to a family group is visible to other members of that group, as the Service is designed for family sharing. You control who you invite. |
| Service providers | We use trusted vendors to run the Service — including Google Firebase / Google Cloud (authentication, database, file storage) and our web host. They process data on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments. |
| Legal & safety | We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Company, our users, or the public. |
| Business transfers | If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy. |
| With your direction | When you use features that link to third-party services (for example, payment apps you display, or links you open), you share information directly with those third parties under their own policies. |
4. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties, including Google Firebase / Google Cloud Platform for authentication, database, and storage, and a web-hosting provider. When you contact a family member or open a payment or fundraising link, you interact directly with those third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services; please review their policies.
We use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to understand how visitors arrive at and use the Service. The Meta Pixel may set cookies and collect limited information such as pages viewed and account sign-ups, which is shared with Meta. We do not send Meta the contents of your family tree, photos, messages, or other private family data. You can manage how Meta uses this information through your Meta ad preferences, and you can limit tracking using your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for more.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may delete content or request account deletion as described below. Note that information you shared with your family group may remain accessible to, or have been copied by, other members, and copies may persist in backups for a limited period.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls provided by our infrastructure providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
7. Your Choices & Rights
You can review and update much of your information directly in the Service. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below; we will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
U.S. state privacy rights (including California)
If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access or deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may submit a request at the contact email below.
European/UK users
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing include performing our contract with you (providing the Service), your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations. You may have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for adults 18 and older, and only adults may create or hold an account. Children are never account holders — a child may appear only as a profile created and managed by an adult relative. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to register. Because the Service is a family tool, an adult member may add information about a child relative; by doing so, the adult represents they are the child’s parent or guardian or have obtained parental/guardian consent, and for any child under 13 this consent is required before any information is added. If you believe a child created an account or that a child’s information was added without proper authority, contact us and we will take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
9. International Users
We are based in the United States, and the Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
